Grand Ceremony and Initiation of Medicine Buddha
To be able to prepare the ceremony in the best possible way, we are sending you some preliminary information in this email and request you to reserve your place in advance.
Generally, the purpose of this event is to help pacify and reduce unfavourable conditions arising worldwide, such as wars, pandemics, diseases, and other disturbances. Moreover, the prayers and rituals during this ceremony will help sick people and everybody with adverse circumstances. The initiation is especially beneficial for the practitioners connected to our Sangha community.
An increasing interest in medical practices worldwide, regardless of traditions, has emerged in recent years. Medical practices have been taught in different spiritual centres and for different Sanghas. To prepare for the Sangye Menlha initiation, Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche will teach extensive Medicine Buddha practice, how to connect to it, and how it will support the individual practice.
We encourage everyone to attend! It is especially advised for those with health problems, but it will benefit everyone, and all are invited.
The daily schedule will include an early start in the morning, mantra recitation throughout the day, ritual in the evening, and recitations throughout the night. Every day will be dedicated to one specific ritual, and we will jointly accumulate as many mantras as possible. We will form groups to recite the mantras turn by turn. The night shifts are voluntary, and if staying up during the night is uncomfortable for someone, they don’t have to do it.
If you would like to attend the Sangye Menlha practice and initiation, we will then send you the information on reserving your place by paying a reservation fee as soon as the information is available.
