Dzogchen – the “Great Perfection” – is the realisation of the natural state of mind through one's own direct experience. Pönlop Tsangpa Tenzin Rinpoche is the principal teacher of Triten Norbutse Monastery, Kathmandu, and we are deeply honoured that he will come to Germany to give an introduction to Dzogchen meditation and philosophy. The teachings will take place online via Zoom and on-site at Meditationshaus Höfen, Kyema Ötso Ling (Bavaria, Germany). Pönlop Tsangpa Tenzin Rinpoche will give answers to questions like ‘What is the natural state?’ and ‘How do we meditate effectively?’ Pönlop Rinpoche’s answers will be based on his insights gathered during a lifetime of meditation practice and teaching. They will include an introduction to the natural state and practical advice to maintain the natural state in one’s own meditation practice. Though the title of this weekend's teaching is ‘Introduction to Dzogchen’, it will be very instructive for both experienced and new practitioners.
