Dzogchen practice and teaching retreat

Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche

31 March – 5 April 2024

We are delighted that Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche has agreed to continue his transmission and explanations of the Dzogchen teachings based on "Drenpa Namkha's Golden Instructions" (Drenpa Serdam).

This cycle is a compilation of several texts and Dzogchen teachings that Kuntu Zangpo directly transmitted to the great master Drenpa Namkha. From Drenpa Namkha, these teachings were then passed on to his son Tsewang Rigdzin. From him and other deities, masters, and Dakinis, in the form of visions, the transmission was received by Master Shense Lhaje, who eventually wrote down these visionary encounters. Thus, these teachings have come down to us in an unbroken transmission through our masters, including instructions on the preliminaries, the main practice, the practice of "inner fire," and other teachings. Drenpa Serdam is therefore a complete guide for the practice of Dzogchen.

Having begun teaching this text in 2021, Rinpoche will once again combine text translations, explanations, commentaries, and meditation sessions.

This seminar offers a precious opportunity to deepen the understanding and practice of Dzogchen under the guidance of a highly esteemed teacher who presents these instructions in a pure and direct manner, highlighting the essential points.

All those seriously interested in meditation are welcome, including those who have not attended previous teachings of this cycle and newcomers to Yungdrung Bön.
