Tibetan Gathering
August 8, 2026 - August 11, 2026
At the invitation of Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, Shenten welcomes the Tibetan communities of Europe — all traditions together — for four days of exchange, practice and celebration. A meeting space especially designed for the younger generations, who do not always have access in their home cities to these aspects of their spiritual and cultural heritage.
At the invitation of Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, Shenten Dargye Ling opens its doors to the Tibetan communities of Europe for a four-day gathering, from 8 to 11 August 2026.
This gathering is meant for anyone of Tibetan origin, whatever their traditional affiliation (Yungdrung Bön, Nyingma, Kagyü, Sakya, Gelug, or other). It is especially conceived as a meeting space for the younger generations born or settled in Europe, who, in their adoptive cities, rarely have the opportunity to gather with one another or to approach directly certain aspects of their spiritual and cultural heritage.
The gathering alternates three moments:
• open exchanges, around life in the diaspora, transmission from one generation to the next, and the questions raised today by families living far from Tibet;
• times of guided practice in the Yungdrung Bön tradition, open to anyone curious as well as to those already engaged on a spiritual path;
• shared celebrations — meals, songs, dances — to celebrate together what Tibet passes on to its children, wherever they may be.
For the youngest, the gathering offers a concrete setting to discover, without pressure or obligation, a culture that is often distant in their everyday lives. For the elders, it is an opportunity to reconnect with a broader sangha and to see bonds weaving between families, generations, and traditions.
Whether you come for one day, several, or the entire duration, your presence helps keep alive this precious link that is our community.
