Tummo Practice

Khenpo Gelek Jinpa

November 23, 2025 - November 28, 2025

Khenpo Gelek will teach Tummo based on the text Kusum Rangshar by Shardza Tashi Gyaltsen, a complete Dzogchen teaching from the Atri tradition.

For several years, many members of the sangha have expressed the wish to receive teachings on Tummo from Khenpo Gelek Jinpa. We are pleased to announce that Khenpo-la will continue this transmission again this year.

The teaching is open to all, including those who were not able to attend previous sessions. Khenpo-la will guide participants step by step through guided practice sessions in Tummo and Trülkhor.

Based on the Kusum Rangshar

Khenpo Gelek will base his teaching on the Kusum Rangshar (The Self-Radiance of the Three Bodies), a foundational text by Shardza Tashi Gyaltsen, a renowned Dzogchen master of the Atri tradition, who is recognized for having attained the rainbow body in 1934.

This text presents a complete Dzogchen teaching, integrating view, meditation, and physical transformation.

Tummo

Tummo is an ancient practice aimed at generating inner heat through the integration of mind, breath, visualization, and movement. But beyond physical warmth, the true purpose of Tummo is to release energetic blockages, purify the subtle channels, and open the wisdom channel, allowing the transformation of ordinary experience into the natural state of clarity and presence.

This powerful practice supports:

  • the balancing of the body’s physical elements,

  • the calming of the mind,

  • the dissolution of illness and tension,

  • and the strengthening of inner clarity.

This seminar is a precious opportunity to receive a progressive and living transmission of Tummo, within a setting guided by an experienced teacher firmly rooted in the lineage.
