Program

May 8–10

May 11

  • Morning: Initiation of Zhang Zhung Meri, a rare and precious transmission.

  • Afternoon: Celebration of the 20th anniversary of Shenten Dargye Ling, including ceremonies and expressions of gratitude for two decades dedicated to the study, practice, and transmission of Bön.

A Unique Gathering

This event will bring together the community around the living teachings of Bön.We will also pay tribute to Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, founder of Shenten, who is celebrating his 100th birthday this year.

All practitioners, friends, and supporters of Bön are warmly invited to attend this important spiritual gathering.

The Twelve Little Tantras

The Twelve Little Tantras (rgyud bu chung bcu gnyis) form the core text of the first external cycle of the oral transmission of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyüd. This cycle presents the outer view of Dzogchen and guides practitioners through direct instructions toward the realization of the natural state.

This text plays an essential role in understanding the view, path, and fruition of Dzogchen within the Yungdrung Bön tradition.

Zhang Zhung Meri

Zhang Zhung Meri is a meditational deity deeply connected with the ancient land of Zhang Zhung and Mount Kailash. He is the main protector of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyüd lineage.

His practice supports healing, inner balance, and spiritual protection. The initiation granted by His Holiness is a rare opportunity to receive this blessing within the authentic lineage.

A Message from Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche
