Khenpo Gelek Jinpa

We are happy to announce that Khenpo Gelek Jinpa has kindly accepted to transmit online very special experiential instructions of an early female dzogchen master called Jyanchub Gyurmema. This great Khandro, the Mother of the Unchanging Pure and Perfect State, realized the Rainbow Body of the Great Transfer at the age of 95.


Jyanchub Gyurmema was the daughter of King Trulgyal Drakpa, who ruled in the land called Dewa Köpa in the southern part of the ancient kingdom of Zhang Zhung. During her lifetime she gave complete dzogchen teachings in the form of Songs of Experience first to her parents and their retinues, then to dzogchen and tantric practitioners, and finally to vinaya lineage holders.


Yungdrung Bön has many highly realized female lineage holders of vinaya, tantra and dzogchen, but so far only a few texts on their teachings have been translated and published in English or other western languages. To fill the gap, Khenpo Gelek decided to translate Jyanchub Gyurmema’s biography and experiential instructions into English and give this teaching for the first time to western practitioners. The text will be published later this year by Bön Wisdom Treasure of Zhang Zhung.


These wonderful teachings will be given on Zoom during three weekends. The schedule of the teachings is:

  • April 1-2, 2023

RECORDINGS

Teachings will be recorded and you will receive the REPLAY link and password to access the recordings in remainder emails.

Simultaneous translation is planned for Finnish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Hungarian.
