The Six Lamps-Week 3

Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche

03 to 06 February 2022

Dear friends, Last summer, Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche started teaching one of the most profound Dzogchen texts in Yungdrung Bön Tradition: "Six Lamps" (སྒྲོན་མ་དྲུག་ Wylie: sgron ma drug) from the cycle Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud (Oral Transmissions of Zhang Zhung). The instructions on the Six Lamps is one of the root texts of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud and describes highly secret precepts of Dzogchen (རྫོགས་ཆེན། Wylie: rdzogs chen; Great Perfection). The traditional accounts say the teachings were revealed by Tapihritsa to Gyerpung Nangzher Löpo and contain thorough explanations of various meditation practices, direct visionary experiences, and how to recognise one's own mind's clear light. The seminar offers a precious opportunity to deepen the understanding and practice of Dzogchen under the guidance of a highly esteemed teacher presenting those instructions purely and directly, highlighting the essential points. All those seriously interested in meditation are welcome, including those who have not attended the previous teachings of this cycle and newcomers to Yungdrung Bön. We will keep the usual format of our online teachings: two hours of instruction per day by Khenchen Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche combined with ritual and meditation sessions in the morning and evening guided by residential Lamas of Shenten Dargye Ling.
