mailto:contact@shenten.orgmailto:contact@shenten.orgDear friends,

For the coming turn of the year, we invite you to join us for our next online seminar. We are delighted and grateful that Drubdra Khenpo Tenzin Tsultrim will be sharing this precious time with us We are delighted and grateful that Drubdra Khenpo Tenzin Tsultrim will be sharing this precious time with us to teach the foundation and practice of Dream Yoga.

About the teaching:

The full integration of meditation and spiritual practice into one's life is an essential part of the path of liberation. Sleep and dream play a significant role in this, as they are a substantial part of our lives. While we sleep and dream, our mind is in a state in which the experience and realisation of our own nature and awareness can unfold a particularly great deal of potential and power.

In the Yungdrung Bön tradition, the teachings of Mother Tantra - Ma Gyud (མ་རྒྱུད། Wylie: ma rgyud) - mainly comprise six methods: Tummo, Dream Yoga, Chod, Phowa, Bardo and Sleep Yoga. The method of dream yoga - Mi Ba Lam Khyer (རྨི་བ་ལམ་ཁྱེར། Wylie: rmi ba lam khyer) - focuses on teaching methods to help practitioners recognise and integrate the dream state into their practice. The skill of conscious or lucid dreaming can help realise and become aware of the illusory nature of reality, even during the day. It can also help to experience clarity and awareness at the time of death and preserve, recognise the clear light, and thus achieve realisation. Overall, through the practice of dream yoga, one's awareness of nature can be strengthened and therefore represents an essential access to the nature of the mind.

Drubdra Khenpo Tenzin Tsultrim is the Abbot of the Meditation School at the Triten Norbutse Monastery in Kathmandu and an expert on the Mother Tantra.
