L’Association Shenten Dargye Ling organise, chaque mois, des sessions axées sur la méditation et son développement.

L'enseignement, donné par un maître résident, est relativement aisé et accessible à tous.

Y sont abordés des sujets simples, tels que la posture de méditation, l'état d'esprit, les trois canaux et leur fonctionnement, les neuf respirations...

La prochaine session aura lieu ce Samedi 15 Décembre, de 10H à 12H.

Greetings everybody. Here, you can find the program for 2019. Please note you can't register to any retreat at the moment, except the December 2018, January 2019 retreat (I'm working on activating the registration for both of them at this exact moment), and also the Gomdra, in which you have to send a mail.

January

1st - New Year Celebration

Jointly with Khenpo Nyima and our resident lamas, we will welcome the New year with meditation and prayers.

4th to 9th - Retreat on "Inner Fire" according to the Mother Tantra with Drubdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and new practitioners to get experience with "inner fire" practice.

The teaching will be based on a manual written by Yongdzin Rinpoche on how to practice inner fire according to the Mother Tantra.


20th to 21st - Celebration of the Tonpa Shenrab's birthday with the Limitless Aspirational Prayer to the Buddhas (Dersheg Monlam Thaye)

The celebration of the Tonpa Shenrab's birthday, founder of the precious Bon tradition, is one of the most important ceremonies around the Tibetan New Year. Blessings are multiplied manifold during such holy occasions.

On the 20th, we will perform the practice of the Limitless Aspirational Prayer to the Buddhas (Dersheg Monlam Thaye) for auspiciousness and well being of our friends and familiers and the world at large. It is recommenced to observer 24 hours Nyungne vows on the 21st until the next morning.

February

(31st Jan.) to 6th - Festivities around Tibetan New Year - ritual practice of Sherab Djamma

The Gutor ritual to purify negativities collected throughout the year will be performed on the basis of the practice of the Loving Wisdom Goddess, Sherab Djamma.

- 1st to 3rd - Gutor ceremony

- 4th - Meditation practice and preparation for the New Year celebration

- 5th - We will welcome the New Year with a sang offering and a prayer flag ceremony in the morning, followed by lunch


9th - Celebration of the Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen's birthday

During the day, we will practice Nyamme Lha Drub or ganapuja offerings to Nyamme Sherab Gyaltsen with our resident lamas.

In the evening, we will make a butter-lamp offering.


April

7th to 12th - Introduction to Dzogchen through preliminary practices

Each year, we organize a week during which we can practice preliminaries intensively. This retreat is recommended for everyone; it is particularly useful for those who are new to the teachings and wish to prepare to participate in Dzogchen retreats.

This year, the retreat also offers an excellent opportunity for those who wish to prepare themselves to participate in the teachings of Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung taking place the next week.


14th to 19th - Teaching and practice retreat on Kusum Rangshar with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche

This will be the ninth year that Khenpo will teach this important text on Dzogchen, written by the famous SHardza Tashi Gyaltsen Rinpoche. This year, Khenpo Rinpoche will continue the teaching on "inner fire".


May

5th to 24th - Start of a five year course on Bonpo philosophy with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche and Khenpo Gelek

This will be the start of a five year course on Bonpo philosophy. Each year during spring we will organise a three-week teaching retreat.

Over the course of the five years, we will cover selected topics as taught in the curriculum of the traditional Dialectical School at Menri and Triten Norbutse monasteries.

The first year will be dedicated to the hagiographies of Tonpa Shenrab and the Nine Vehicles.

Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche will open the course and teach during the first week. Thereafter, Khenpo Gelek will continue.

Highly recommended for dedicated practitioners who wish to broaden their understanding.

Particularly recommended for those who intend to function as translators.

Those who participate the full length of five years will be awarded a certificate.

June

(25th May) to 14th - Intensive collective Dzogchen meditation retreat

Intended for experienced practitioners who have confidence in their practice and wish to practice intensively in a group.

We will follow the daily schedule designed by Yongdzin Rinpoche with four sessions of meditation and the four offerings each day.

Participants are to remain within the retreat boundary.


13th to 16th - Visit of His Holiness the Abbot of Menri

- 13th - We are honored to announce that on this very day we will have the joy to welcome His Holiness the Abbot of Menri in Shenten Dargye Ling.

- 14th to 16th - His Holiness will teach on a subject which has not been fixed by now.

July

(30th June) to 5th - Teaching and practice on the main practice of Dzogchen with Ponlop Tsangpa Tendzin Rinpoche

In 2016, Ponlop Tsangpa Tendzin Rinpoche started to teach from the Gyalwa Chagtri, the practice manual for Dzogchen practice in the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyu. This year, Ponlop Rinpoche will continue to teach from the same text. The week will be practice oriented.

August

(28th Jul.) to 16th - Summer retreat with practice and teaching on Dzogchen

Teachings from the Three Proclamations of the Word. This is one of the four main cycles of great perfection teaching. It has been taught by the Buddha Tonpa Shenrab; hidden as treasure by Nyachen Lishu Tagring, and rediscovered by Zhoton Ngodrub Dragpa.

This cycle contains advanced and lucid explanations on Dzogchen practice.

For those who have participated in previous summer retreats, it is important to know that this year, during the retreat, there will be more emphasis on meditation.


25th to 30th - Dzogchen meditation practice retreat


Gomdra

5th September to 13th November - Meditation School with Khenpo Gelek

The third Meditation School (Gomdra) at Shenten Dargye Ling will last four years until 2022 and take place each year during autumn (70 days).

This gomdra is based on the Yangtse Longchen by Nyachen Lishu Tagring, a commentary on the Three Proclamation of the Word.

Participants have to commit to attend ten weeks a year for four years and apply with a motivation letter.

The retreat lama will be Khenpo Gelek.

L’Association Shenten Dargye Ling organise une série d’enseignements appelés « PRÉLIMINAIRES ».

Les instructions seront transmises par un Maître résident. Elles porteront sur la pratique de la méditation et sur les principales leçons spirituelles :

  • réflexion sur l’impermanence de la vie, sur les souffrances que nous expérimentons au cours de notre vie,
  • réflexion sur la loi de causes à effets de tous nos actes,
  • génération de pensées positives, de compassion et comment ces attitudes peuvent elles bénéficier à autrui ainsi qu’à nous-mêmes, etc.
